"Don't let them see you sweat!"

When a speaker sounds or appears uncertain, listener confidence falls apart. This is a problem many competent people, including non-native Americans, have experienced.

Suggestion: Do not allow your voice to drop off at the end of a statement because doing so gives the listener the idea that you are hesitating or are unsure of what you are saying.
